Donky
Spaced repetition, done simply

Learn anything once. Keep it for good.

Donky shows you each card right before you'd forget it, so a few minutes a day is enough to hold on to vocabulary, formulas, anatomy, code — whatever you're learning.

Why Donky

Everything you need to study efficiently, on the web and on your devices.

Sync everywhere

Study on your phone, tablet, Mac or in the browser. Your progress follows you, and the apps work offline.

Smart scheduling

An SM-2 based scheduler spaces reviews out as you learn, with learning steps, ease and per-deck limits you control.

Your cards, your way

Note types with any fields, card templates in HTML and CSS, reversed cards and cloze deletions.

Scales to big decks

Tens of thousands of cards are no problem. Search, filter, tag, flag and reorganise them in the browser.

Shared decks

Publish a deck for others or start from one the community already made — one click to add it.

Honest statistics

See what you studied today, what's coming up and how your intervals are growing.

How it works

Two ideas are all you need.

Decks

Group cards by subject — Spanish::Verbs, Med school::Cardio. Nest decks as deep as you like and study a whole branch or a single topic.

Reviews

Look at the question, recall the answer, then tell Donky how it went — Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Cards you know well come back less and less often.

Notes make cards

Write a note once and get several cards from it: forward and reverse, or one card per cloze such as {{c1::Paris}} is the capital of {{c2::France}}.
